Ibstock Place Refectory

Winner of Project of the year and Solid Wood project of the year at the Structural Timber Awards 2021, Constructional Timber was tasked with the manufacture, supply and install of Ibstock place's School refectory.

The project highlighted the use of CLT Panels to compliment the Spruce Glulam Beams which give the building a sense of intimacy and granditure. The outcome is an extremely impressive modern project that gives the school a dining space to accommodate for everyone.

Here at Constructional Timber we did not just manufacture the Glulam beams and the CLT for this project. We were tasked with the design and detailing of all the members and steel connections. Working closely with both the client and the architect, we were able to design and erect this beautiful structure.
