Off The Shelf:

We can supply a number of ‘off the shelf’ base shoes (depending on the connection forces). There are a range we use, but the most common ones are as follows.

Fabricated (Bolted)

When a custom base shoe is required, the most cost-effective option is to bolt through the timber and a fin plate. If a more discrete look is required, the bolts can be recessed and / or plugged (however this comes at additional cost and possibly a wider column).

Fabricated (Resin Fixed)

If the preference is for no fixings / plugs to be visible, we can offer base shoes that are resin fixed to the underside of posts.
